In , after months of fleeing back and forth, under the bombardement, over a million people have reached Rafah. Like Moses and his people, they face the same sea and even greater cruelty, with weapons aimed at their backs. One toddler has heard that his friends, Fadi, known for his vivid imagination, and Hind, who could never resist candy, were taken by Lamia, the child devourer—a story some parents use to avoid discussing the atrocities they are enduring:
In the quiet of night, by the soft candle's glow,
A toddler's fears, like shadows, grow.
"Mama," he murmurs, with eyes filled with dread,
"Why did Lamia take Fadi and Hind to her bed?

"Was it Fadi's tales or Hind's sweet treats,
That lured Lamia, with her hunger so fleet?
And if I keep dry, will Lamia relent,
Forgiving my faults, her fury spent?"

His mother, with love, cradles him near,
Whispers softly, to quell his fear.
"Lamia's ways, my dear, are shrouded in night,
Beyond our understanding, beyond our sight.

"Fadi and Hind, though gone from our side,
Their memories in our hearts abide.
As for Lamia's wrath, my child, don't despair,
Your goodness shines bright, beyond compare.

"And though Lamia has chased us, from north to south,
With her hunger, her fury, her unyielding mouth,
Perhaps, my love, as you drift into dreams,
A savior may come, with miraculous schemes.

"Just like Moses of old, with a staff by his side,
Parting waters wide, with faith as his guide.
So close your eyes, my sweet, and let dreams take flight,
For in dreams, my darling, we'll find our light."

When nature is the creative artist, there is no room for comparison with human creativity, regardless of the depth and sincerity of expression. Since the sense of beauty comes only from beautiful and delicate souls, this feeling can be the inner manifestation of beauty in the soul. Beauty is not just a three-dimensional architecture in which dimensions and colors are consistent, but rather it is the consistency of dimensions and colors with the environment and nature of the work for which it was created. An engineer can make an effective machine, but it is usually without beauty, and an artist can make beautiful art, but it is usually useless.

A sommer atmosphere in southern France!

India has a lot to offer in all respects architecture, nature gastronomy, costumes, coulors... Etc but if you dare to give up your prejudices and try to immers in its multi-cultural society and simply do like Indian would do you will discover an even more stunning beauty... A beauty that man cannot picture but can feel and experience... It is the beauty of humanity!
These people manage to run a society with hundreds if not thousands of cultures, religious groups, ethinical groups that have lived together side by side for centuries. In a diameter of 100m you can visit a fully packed mandir, a gurdwara, a masjid or an agiyari these are temples of respectively hindu, sikh, moslims, and zorasterian religions. The youngest of these religions is sikhism that started in the 15 century the others are much older especially hindu which might even have been worshiped during the stone age. In fact, these religions are completely different appart from sikhism that might have some similarities with Hinduism and Islam the other regions are completely different from monothéisme to multitheism to pyrolatry and yet they kept living side by side for centuries. It was not always easy, I am aware of that, but the fact is that they are still living side by side and managed to survive many storms. When you ask about multi-culturalism to any Indian no matter what his religion, his intellectual level or his socio-economical class might be he/she answers respect and tolerence are the key words for keeping this balance. They all cannot imagine an India without its rich mix of religions, ethnical groups etc....and they all drink the wonderful massala thee 😀
For all of this thank you India for inspiring me and giving me this opportunity to reflect on my cohabitation idias and believes.
