We live in a large (300-square-meter), beautiful house in Palermo. The architecture is typical of old Argentina - built in 1898, the house is referred to as a "casa chorizo" (sausage house) due to its long, skinny layout. There are six big rooms, each with its own private bathroom. We share a big living-room, a well-equipped kitchen that can be used, a lovely dining room and a beautiful patio with
a parrilla. There are 6 rooms in total, 5 of them are free to welcome travelers. The rooms which are rent have all a private bathroom, a wardrobe, a desk, a TV, air-conditioning, wifi, and are all big and with a double bed. Palermo is a very popular neighborhood full of a lot of cultural activities, restaurants (parrillas, sushi, vegetarian...), and bars. It is centrally located and it is safe. In the surroundings, the access to public transports is easy, we are close to dozens of different bus lines and two subway lines (red and green), that link to almost all the city. There are also supermarkets, pharmacies, and places to learn and dance tango (La Catedral Del Tango...). It has been already 7 years that I've been sharing my house with foreigners, who stay, for some of them, for several years, months, weeks or just a couple of days. The spirit of the house is to offer them a place to arrive and feel home, as in their own house. We speak Spanish and English, and we'll be happy and available to make your stay in Buenos Aires easy. Vivimos en una casa hermosa y espaciosa (300 metros cuadrados) en Palermo. La casa, construida en 1898, tiene una arquitectura típica de la vieja Buenos Aires llamada 'casa chorizo.' Hay seis habitaciones grandes y cada una tiene su propio baño. Compartimos un living grande, una cocina bien armada la cual pueden utilizar, un comedor diario, y un lindo patio con parrilla, tambien, a partir de este verano, estamos estrenando la nueva terraza de 150 metros donde relajar, jugar al ping pong y disfrutar del aire libre. Hay seis habitaciones en total, 5 estan libres para recibir viajeros. Las habitaciónes que estoy alquilando tiene baño privado, armario, escritorio, tv, aire condicionado, y wi-fi, son todas muy amplias y con cama doble. Esta habitacion en particular, es la mas grande de todas y tiene un pequeño entrepiso con una cama single mas para una tercera persona. Palermo es un barrio de moda con una variada vida cultural, restaurantes, parrillas, sushi, vegetariano, bares, etc. Tiene una ubicación central y es seguro. En los alrededores hay fácil acceso al transporte público. Estamos entre las lineas rojo y verde del subte que recorren casi toda la capital. Donde estamos tambien Hay muchos supermercados, farmacias, y lugares para aprender y bailar tango. ( La Catedral del Tango ). Hace ya siete años que convivo con personas del extranjero que vienen, algunos, por años, otros por meses y otros por días. El espíritu de la casa es poder ofrecerles un lugar donde llegar y sentirse como en sus casas. Hablo castellano e inglés y estaremos alegres y dispuestos a facilitarle su viaje por Buenos Aires.
