Thank you for giving me the opportunity introduce my house and my marketing service! My property is located in the secluded little market of KREMSMÜNSTER along the Austrian romantic road, right in the middle of Austria. Because of our central Austrian location along the main east-west axis the Mozart city of Salzburg, the Sound of Music of the Lake District and the hidden pleasures of Vienna are a
ll within easy reach. Of course KREMSMÜNSTER itself has several cultural highlights to offer, these make it the unique USP it is:
Austria’s oldest monastery (1200years) http://www.stift-kremsmuenster.at/ and the first European skyscraper enhance our skyline. Musician’s hearts will beat faster in the piano&brass museum of SCHLOSS KREMSEGG http://www.schloss-kremsegg.at/ which is the Streitwieser Collection from the US exhibiting 5000 years of the metamorphosis of brass instruments. The students can hear the horn of the Czar, and actually play 30+ pianos from the Viennese School (with chimes to reflect the influence of the besieging Turks)! AS TO THE MUSIC;
What makes Kremsmünster / Bad Hall really interesting for US music groups aside from the central location is that over the past 15 years I’ve had at least 45 US groups. Marching Bands, Symphony orchestras, bands and of course choirs. However, I cannot, and have never guaranteed an audience. As a marketing maniac I can only try my best. I will place ads in the local TV, internet, Radio Blue Danube, a total of 6 newspapers (local, regional and church), make a free e-mail mailing to aprox. 1000 addressees, and place aprox. 150 posters in 5 different communities. Several hundred flyers are also included. I can organize rental pianos and other rental instruments if need be. This is all for the half pension rate of €57. —per person,
B&B would be €47, single room surcharge of € 10.--
Specifically in Bad Hall (3 miles from KM) we have a spa facility that needs music groups to offer to their visitors. The Gaestezentrum here is located in the spa park, and also offers a outdoor amphitheatre as an alternate stage. In the Gaestezentrum itself we have the possibility to use a piano, we have two separate rooms so that the students can change and all public facilities. Maybe one last point before closing, the students are always surprised by the fact that I’m a US citizen so that with this last USP I’ll say a sincere Grüß Gott from Kremsmünster, in the middle of the world,
Erik Kux
Ps I´ve had Butler Symphonic Orchestra, Penn State, Notre Dame, Purdue Symphonic Orchestra to name a few, but I would prefer that you make your own picture when you come here to visit us.
