After my first coast ride on the new wheels, I thought it was time to share the new life adventure with my crew. I dragged to the coast by our houses, set up my rigs… the light played nicely and I got what I was looking for!

I’d be interested in thoughts from fellow creatives…

This handsome young man is Caleb… he’s 18 now… so I’m sure he won’t me sharing this photo!

He needed a photo of himself for a Year 12 camp, and it needed from when he first started school. I sent a few, but this was the one they picked to print off and put around his neck for his peers to see.

Now, I found it this morning, and said ‘How cute!’.

Him and his sister started saying how everyone thought it was Ai… the photo I took some 12 years ago!

It actually made me a little sad to hear it… I spent sleepless nights in those early years thinking about ways to perfect my art… I read books, magazines, when to photography groups… I was like a walking TAFE course.

Now to have it thought of as ‘fake’…

As someone who constantly thinks about improving my cretivity for the future, makes me wonder about the future of this craft, and other fields, spending so much time on something that might be completely discarded.

I’m not complaining, I understand the nature of Ai and I’m trying to accept the reality… but…
