Last year, we were honoured to receive 2 Michelin Keys, being amongst the first Michelin Key recipients in Australia. This year has been about consolidating and continuing to strengthen our position as a trusted brand, and building on that achievement.

We are incredibly proud to stand alongside Michelin Key recipients from around the globe. The Michelin Keys represent an accolade we could never have dreamt of achieving, and one for which we remain deeply grateful.

Tomorrow marks another exciting moment for South Australia, with the first Michelin Stars to be awarded to restaurants in the state.

Congratulations to everyone recognised in the inaugural Michelin Guide for South Australia tomorrow. It’s an exciting time for our hospitality industry, and wonderful to see South Australia gaining Michelin recognition on the global stage.

As the visionary creators of Thorngrove Manor, we are excited to announce that we have been honored with 2 prestigious Michelin Keys in 2026, recognizing our exceptional and unique accommodation experience globally, amongst some of the world's most extraordinary hotels. Similar to MICHELIN Stars, our property was rigorously evaluated by anonymous inspectors based on five key factors: architectural and interior design excellence, consistent high-quality service, distinctive personality and character, value for money, and significant contribution to the local area. Thorngrove is so much more than a business, it is our passion and life's work. The brand has developed over decades, with unswerving belief in our vision and constantly striving to be the very best- albeit very small in scale. It is with great pride we celebrate retaining our 2 Keys for the second year.

Amazing to retain the coveted 2 keys for 2026. Exciting to be awarded in 2025, perhaps even better to have retained them. It is impossible to spot an inspector from a usual guest.

Spring is a season of renewal, maintenance and a little forward planning… because preserving and maintaining this iconic structure, means preparing for whatever comes next. 🏰🌿 Spring cleaning at Thorngrove takes many forms. Along with the usual polishing, waxing, pruning and freshening of the Manor, we have been preparing for the unexpected — with new air-conditioning units and extensions to our fire sprinkler system.
Behind the romance, and beautiful interiors, there is always plenty happening behind the scenes to keep Thorngrove safe, ,functional and super comfortable, well cared for and maintaned.

🌿 The Green Awakening of Spring at Thorngrove 🌿
After the quietness of winter, the gardens seem to breathe again; fresh green leaves unfurl, new growth softens the landscape, and every corner feels touched by a little more light.

Spring is nature’s gentle reminder that renewal does not need to be hurried. It arrives quietly, leaf by leaf, flower by flower, bringing with it a sense of possibility and new beginnings.

At Thorngrove, the soft greens of spring weave through the ancient trees, gardens and stonework, creating that magical moment when the landscape feels almost enchanted.

The most enduring interiors are rarely those that reflect fleeting trends. They are spaces that allow life to evolve within them, where architecture, craftsmanship and the senses come together to create something uniquely authentic.

There is something quite magical about a winter's morning at Thorngrove, when an ethereal veil of fog drifts quietly through the hills.
The gardens, stone towers and ancient trees seem to emerge from a fairytale , softened by mist and wrapped in an almost otherworldly stillness.
