We’re excited to share that our updated plans for The Break received planning consent last night.

Throughout this process, we’ve been working hard to ensure our designs reflect global best practice while aligning with broader community expectations. Although that means a longer wait than expected, it also means the result is set to be better than ever.

Huge shoutout to the local community for the overwhelming support we’ve received so far. This planning consent allows our team to continue making progress every day to bring safe, reliable surf, new employment and a world-class tourism drawcard to the Mid Coast.

New plans for The Break Surf & Stay have achieved planning consent following approval by the City of Onkaparinga Council Assessment Panel (CAP).
