Originally constructed as the Commercial Hotel in 1875 by Mr Frederick Leach we were one of eight pubs originally servicing the East Balmain peninsula.
In 2011 the venue was renovated and renamed The East Village Hotel and we continue to proudly honour our historically significant past. We work hard on the daily to ‘Do Local Great’.
