IceBar Surfers Paradise
The Gold Coast is known for being home to some of Australia’s most wild attractions, and we have another to add to the ever-growing list. The only venue of its kind in Queensland, IceBar is calling Surfers Paradise home and is bringing much more than ice-cold drinks to the Glitter Strip.
Venture inside this winter wonderland and it’ll take your breath away—quite literally. The venue is made of over 40 tonnes of ice and is decked out with an impressive bar, seating areas, interactive games and an air hockey table—all carved out of ice.
Order an ice-cold drink (served in a glass carved out of ice, of course), gather your crew to attempt a shotski or simply kick back in the -10℃ arctic bar and admire the rotating collection of ice sculptures.
IceBar Surfers is suitable for all ages and you can pre-book 45 minute sessions—that is, if you last that long. You’ll be rugged up in snow capes, gloves and UGG boots but the more clothes you wear, the longer you’ll last.
