Today I am celebrating 15 years in the motel. I drove into Bright in December 2010 with the idea I would stay on as manager and oversee the sale of the freehold. I instinctively knew the moment I arrived this wasn't going to be a short chapter and by the time I had arranged its auction in 2011 I decided that maybe I should take the plunge and buy it. And that's exactly what I did! 15 years later there are many memories here from friendships to renovations, bus groups to solo travellers... all add to the tapestry of the experience. Let's just say there has been a bucket load of champagne enjoyed over the years. Thank you to my loyal staff, mum for doing the bar, dad for believing I could do it and lastly all of our wonderful and loyal customers. Its been a hell of a ride!! Many thanks Peter🥂 ❤️🥂🙏🥂
