Recently, Sheree and Vanessa from The Boutique Collection attended Booking.com’s Connected Trip event at Daintree Ecolodge, bringing together accommodation providers, tourism representatives, and regional operators for conversations around the evolving traveller experience and the future of tourism across FNQ.

The timing also comes as Port Douglas was recently named one of Booking.com’s Top 10 Trending Travel Destinations globally for 2026, reflecting the region’s growing visibility among both domestic and international travellers.

One of the key discussions throughout the event focused on the growing opportunity within the interstate travel market, particularly as more Australians continue seeking premium, nature-led experiences closer to home.
