What a week! 4 nights of full occupancy which certainly had us run off our feet and brushing those green season lazy day cobwebs away! But it’s not too late if you fancy a mini road trip up to Cooktown for the ANZAC weekend. In the meanwhile Frank and his fabulous team from Tropical Tree Solutions in Cairns are here helping us spruce up our beautiful tropical gardens and rainforest surrounds in time for the 2026 season. We hope to see you soon!

Cyclone watch finally behind us for the season, fingers crossed 🤞There’s been a lot of mixed messaging and a bit of scaremongering online that put off some guests from visiting us here in Cooktown, and elsewhere in FNQ, but tbh, I’ll take another dress rehearsal and false alarm over the alternative. Looking forward to seeing you at The Seaview in Cooktown soon - it really is a little piece of paradise. 🌴🍹👙🍻

Gorgeous afternoon here in Cooktown! The temperature is a perfect 27°, and the sun is shining bright. The morning after the night before. It was a long night here as I’m sure it was everywhere else in Cape York… while Cooktown may have dodged the worst of the damaging winds no doubt a lot of rain ahead. Just thinking about our neighbouring communities and hoping they get through this okay
