We’ve updated the Hedge Suite with a few curated design pieces. The living space now features the Favn sofa by for , bringing hints of red into the room and ensuite to add warmth and cosiness—perfect for the cooler Victorian climate. In the bedroom, we’ve paired the leather Clio armchair with the Alcova bed, both designed by for .

Outside, our garden’s autumn colors are still putting on a show, reminding us exactly why we love this season so much. 🍂 As the weather cools down, our suites are fully equipped with all the modern comforts you need to stay warm. Whether you want to curl up with a movie (free streaming on selected platforms), enjoy a long-overdue catch-up, or step outside to breathe in the crisp fresh air under a stunning starry sky, it’s the perfect winter escape. ✨

The Hedge Suite is now open for Thursday stays. Plus, book a Sunday night and enjoy a relaxed, late 1 p.m. check-out on Monday. We hope to welcome you to Red Gables soon.

Welcome to Red Gables! We are Susan and Adrian, a mother-and-son team dedicated to mindful hosting and our on-site yoga studio, lèyoga.

This April is a double celebration for us: it marks 18 months of hosting guests in our Hedge and Garden Suites, and 14 wonderful years of calling Daylesford home. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the guests who made this our busiest month yet.

Whether you are seeking a private sanctuary on our 2.6-acre property or a short stroll into town (and a little further to Lake Daylesford), we are love to share this beautiful part of the world with you.

The Red Gables Experience:
• Privacy & Design: Our suites feature private entrances and a focus on “slow living” aesthetics. We are constantly evolving to ensure every stay feels fresh and inspired.
