Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat is seeking a Part‑Time Receptionist / Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. This is a dynamic and fast‑paced role where no two days are the same, working across both departments alongside our dedicated staff.

We are ideally looking for someone with previous hotel reception experience. Familiarity with RoomMaster reservation software will be considered an advantage.

This part‑time position offers a minimum of 25 hours per week, and applicants must be available for some weekend and public holiday shifts.

• Morning shift: 7:00am – 2:00pm
• Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – close (generally no later than 10:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

Reception duties include:

• Guest check‑in and check‑out
• Processing payments
• Handling phone and online enquiries/bookings
• Managing internet reservations
• Coordinating group bookings such as weddings and celebrations

Restaurant duties include:

• Greeting and seating guests
• Taking orders
• Bar service
• Cleaning and maintaining service areas
• Running and clearing meals

Additional Information

• Remuneration is based on age and experience, in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award.
• Backpackers are welcome to apply, however we require a minimum 6‑month commitment.
• We cannot offer 88‑day visa eligibility, as we do not meet the criteria.
• The role includes a one‑month casual trial, with the opportunity to transition to part‑time for the right candidate.
• Affordable subsidised on‑site accommodation is available if required.

This casual role (minimum 3 days per week, with part‑time possible for the right person) is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing hearty, well‑presented meals and thrives in a small, supportive kitchen.

About the Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering simple, delicious meals for our guests, including:
🍳 Preparing and cooking breakfast and dinner service
🥗 Assisting with menu planning and daily prep
🧼 Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
📦 Managing stock rotation and basic ordering
🔥 Ensuring food safety standards are consistently met

Are you ready to take on a physically demanding, fast-paced role where no two days are the same? Lemonthyme Wilderness Retreat is on the lookout for a hardworking, enthusiastic Maintenance Sidekick to join our team!

This casual role (minimum 3 days per week,) isn’t for the faint-hearted—it’s perfect for someone who thrives in the great outdoors and enjoys rolling up their sleeves for a mix of hands-on tasks. (Part-time may be availabe for the right candidate)

About the Role:
You’ll be tackling a variety of maintenance duties, including but not limited to:
🔧 Chopping and stacking wood
🌿 Walking track maintenance
⛈ Clean-up after weather events
🏡 General handyman repairs & maintenance across the Lodge and Cabins
💧 Daily routine tasks for our water treatment plant
⚡ Overseeing our unique, self-sustaining power system (hydro turbine & backup generator)

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Physically fit and ready for manual labour
✔️ Able to follow direction and work under our current maintenance staff
✔️ Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to adapt
✔️ Non-restricted manual driver’s license required
✔️ Experience is highly regarded but not essential—we value dedication and a strong work ethic!
