Excellent afternoon of dodgy rock'n'roll at the Breakwater Hotel this afternoon. First time seeing Burning Effigy, they were bloody excellent. Catch them as soon as you get a chance. We had fun, thanks to all who came along. Big thanks to Sally Jay and all the Breakwater crew. An absolute pleasure to play. Let's do it again soon.

In unfathomably tragic news, have just learned of the passing of Peter Christopher. We had the honour of playing with the mighty Iron Sheiks a number of times in the 90's and then with the equally mighty Meatbeaters in recent years.
Pete was literally a towering presence in the Adelaide rock'n'roll community and a man who never stopped rocking hard till the end. It was an honour to know the great man and share stages with him. Sincerest love to all his friends and family. Truly a sad day.

Excellent afternoon of rock'n'roll at the Breakwater hotel yesterday afternoon. Melbourne's own Plastic Section and The Sugar Beats from Sydney both did brilliant sets. Great bands but more importantly top notch people. Hopefully they'll come back soon.
Thanks to Sal and AdsHoc for organising it and everyone who came out. Had a load of fun. Let's do it again soon.

Tomorrow afternoon, has to be better than last Saturday. Anyway Plastic Section are great. The Sugar Beats will be great too and we will be there, doing whatever it is we do. Maybe good, maybe not, but it will be loud and probably feature childish name-calling and finger pointing. Wouldn't want to miss that.
