So special to bring our newest addition to the family; miss Poet, to stay at the Love Nest last weekend. We were also lucky enough to catch the Swiss Italian festa while we were there too 🇨🇭🇮🇹 incredible to see inside some of these historic buildings that neighbour us at the

We have had the privilege of hosting everything from babymoons, proposals, weddings, girls weekends,solo escapes and so many birthdays. Books have been written, toasts have been made and dreams have been formed. To have created the backdrop to these priceless memories that live on in your hearts was a dream come true and something we will never take for granted.
We have closed our books for the moment on new bookings to allow for these nexts steps to take place, however all pre existing bookings will of course be honoured and uninterrupted. Keep your eyes posted for any updates on this here.

First weekend in Autumn part 2.✨

I had my cards read by Dandy 👧🏼 as we pottered around the house. We then headed to to grab morning tea and had it by the water at Jubilee Lake 🦆. After lunch we went for a bush walk at the back of our property then headed to for a delish early dinner on the deck. 🌅 We then walked off of full tummies in the Wombat Hill Botanical Gardens and marveled at the over 100 year old trees and magical evening light dancing through them. Another perfect day in this magical part of the world ###

First weekend of Autumn at the part 1. 🍂
We had the special privilege of enjoying the house to ourselves this weekend. And what better what to celebrate the first day of this wonderful season than a trip to the Daylesford market where we caught the historic steam train through the countryside 🚂🐓 (both run every Sunday xx )
We then enjoyed a sunny lunch on the deck and spent the afternoon building cubby houses 🫖🎪📖☁️ xx

The glorious flowers of Hepburn Springs we passed on our walk the other day 🌸 the gardens just seem to glow here. The volcanic soil is amazing. My heart skips a beat every time. Especially at the Rhododendron’s 🤩. November truly is a beautiful time to visit xx

One of my all time favourite activities to do when we visit the Love Nest is to pop in to some of the many vintage and second hand markets this beautifil part of the world boasts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The rush I get searching through all the treasures at the Daylesford bazar and Daylesford Mill Market is second to none and I nearly always leave with a few additions to my ever expanding collection of thrifted finds. Both are but a 5 minute drive from the house and are sure to enchant you as they do me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On this particular day I scored this gorgeous peachy hued side table, a gold tulle leotard for Dandelion and a pair of floral overalls for her too. All for around $60.00 in total 🛒 which is much kinder to our wallets and the environment too 💘.

The most beautiful way to finish off the holidays 🏹 so grateful for our little house in the clouds and our little family. Cup is full after a weekend of lake swimming, walks in nature, beer garden spritz’s, dinner by the fire, glorious sunshine and even some blissful reading time. ⛲️
