LICOLA’S FUTURE IS AT A CROSSROADS
As many of you know, my time at the Licola General Store has come to a heartbreaking end. Due to the "vacant possession" requirement for the sale, I’ve had to move out and remove the memorabilia that held our history.
While I hear the store will be reopening under new management soon, the bigger story remains: Our town is still for sale ($6M–$10M). We aren't just looking for a "business operator"—we are fighting for the right investor. Someone who will honor the 50-year legacy of Licola and bring its soul back.
I need your voices now more than ever!
I’ll be a guest with Nigel Williamson (Nigel’s Animal Rescue) and Denis Walter on 3AW this Friday night (6/02) from 7 PM – 8 PM.
• CALL IN ON 133 693: and Please, share your memories. Tell us what Licola means to you. Let’s make sure the history isn't forgotten in the noise of the sale.
• SHARE YOUR PHOTOS: Post your favorite pictures of our beautiful town below. Let’s keep the spirit of "our" Licola alive.
• SPREAD THE WORD: Help us find a buyer who will do right by this land and its history.
I may have had to leave the building, but I haven't left the fight for Licola.
With love and gratitude, Leanne
