Looking for some Saturday morning entertainment? Look no further! The Jandowae Jackaroos have the honour of hosting Miles And District Rugby League Football Club Tara & District Rugby League Football Club Wandoan Junior Rugby League Football Club and Chinchilla Junior Bulldogs for the Closing Carnival of the 2026 season. Get along to the grounds to cheer our juniors on and see how much they’ve grown and improved as teams under the guidance of their coaches. If nothing else, you get one last chance to support our club and save yourself the job of cooking - Bacon & Egg burgers are on for breakfast with the canteen operating until the final whistle blows. Get down, and show our juniors your support!

Some things are just meant to be! A bye for junior footy this weekend means we are perfectly poised to grab the kids and hit the road to cheer our Jandowae Fish Hooks Senior Rugby League team home. We know they’re going to do our town proud, play with plenty of heart and leave it all out there on the field. There’s future Hooks watching so show ‘em what you’re made of boys 💪🏼

Where it all begins - Under 6. Enjoy this little feature of our Under 6 team who were on fire this morning in Chinchilla. There were plenty of tries, tags snatched and the lolly consumption post match was at its usual high. Wonder which of these little tackers will grow up to pull on the Jandowae Fish Hooks Senior Rugby League jersey.

Jono coaches a small army and our biggest side with 18 eager Under 8s under his expert guidance. Jono brings maximum enthusiasm, energy and vibes to the role and has done a tremendous job of supporting the Jackaroos who made the transition to their first year of tackle. He is big on team spirit, team players and training with purpose. Another bloke who has plenty of other things to keep him busy but chooses to show up for the benefit of our club. Thank you Jono!
