Why do I share so much of what I see? ❤️

I’ve been asked this quite a few times, and for me, the answer is actually pretty simple.

I’m incredibly lucky to spend so much of my life surrounded by nature and wildlife, and I get to witness moments that stop me in my tracks, make me laugh, make me cry, or simply remind me how bloody beautiful the natural world is.

And not everyone gets to see what I see.

Some people live in cities. Some can’t travel or aren’t able to get out into nature anymore. Some might be in hospital, a nursing home, or simply having a really sh*tty day and need something beautiful to appear on their screen.

And honestly, some of the comments I receive mean far more to me than people probably realise.

“Thank you, I really needed this today.”
“You just made me smile.”
“This made my day.”

Those comments are incredibly special to me.

If something I’ve shared makes even one person smile, lifts them for a moment, or lets them experience a little piece of the natural world they might otherwise never see, then sharing it has been worthwhile.

And there’s another reason.

I want people to fall in love with our natural world. Because when people fall in love with something, they start to care about it — and when they care, they’re far more likely to want to protect it.

So I’ll keep sharing the beautiful moments, the funny ones, the heartbreaking ones and everything in between.

And maybe we can all pass a little of that happiness on.

Smile at someone. Give someone a compliment. Check in on somebody. Do something small that makes another person feel good.

Kindness and happiness are contagious. ❤️

And if we can make someone else’s day just a little bit brighter, I reckon that’s a pretty bloody good thing.
