The cottage has a fully enclosed back yard with a carport and plenty of off street parking - room to park your boat and car securely. The yard is dog friendly, although dogs are not allowed inside the house. The outdoor back veranda has a BBQ and table setting for out door dinning. Lemon Tree Passage is located on the Tilligerry Peninsula in Port Stephens; a short 2 hour drive from Sydney on the F3 Freeway. The Cottage is conveniently located, just a 3 min walk to the Marina, ideal for swimming, fishing, boating and a children's play ground.There are all the local conveniences of a small town, a police station, a chemist, a doctor, Post Office, take away food shops,butcher shop and a bottle shop. Lemon Tree Passage also has a Bowling and RSL Club, both have great menus. In nearby Tanilba Bay there is a small shopping centre for all your grocery needs. There is also an 18 hole golf course. Lemon Tree passage is renown for its Koala Colony. Opposite the Camellia Cottage is a large park, where you can often see and hear them. It is an Eco-Tourism location, with absolute waterfront on the banks of Tilligerry Creek, well known for its quietness and natural beauty along the waterfront reserves, with abundant birdlife and wildflowers. There is a lovely board walk just at the edge of the shopping centre that takes you along the foreshores of Tillygerry Creek. Lemon Tree Passage offers a much quieter holiday destination than other tourist destinations. Just a short 1/2 hour away is Newcastle, Nelsons Bay, and Raymond Terrace. William Town Airport is also only about 20 minutes away. The Port Stephens area offers many fabulous tourist activities. A short trip to Anna Bay will get you to the world renowned sand dunes of Stockton Beach. You can go on camel rides, horse riding or 4WD tours. The Shark and Ray centre near Bobs Farm is a must see. You can even book yourself a deep sea fishing trip, or a whale and dolphin cruise. One of the best draw cards for Lemon Tree Passage is the Marina. If you have a boat, the boat ramp is ideally situated right next to the Marina and tidal pool. A great place to launch your boat out of any prevailing winds, it is a very protected area. The Port Stephens area provides many hours of pleasant cruising and fishing around the bay, without ever having to go outside the heads. Local Attractions
