A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Blanket Salisbury with Love Winter Appeal today. ❤️

It was fantastic to see our community once again come together to help local people and families doing it tough this winter.

Every blanket and every food donation will make a real difference by providing warmth, comfort and support to those who need it most.

A special thank you to the Lions Club of Salisbury for organising this wonderful community initiative, along with all of the volunteers who generously gave their time to make today such a success. Your dedication is truly appreciated.

Community is at its best when we look after one another, and today was a wonderful example of that.

Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered or simply helped spread the word. You should all be incredibly proud. ❤️

This winter, too many local families are facing the impossible choice between keeping warm and putting food on the table.

As members of the Lions Club of Salisbury, we believe no one in our community should have to face winter alone.

That's why we're inviting you to support **Blanket Salisbury With Love**.

We're collecting:

🛏️ New or near-new blankets
🥫 Non-perishable food items

Every donation will go directly to local families through our wonderful community partners, **The Mustard Seed Family Project** and **Cos We Care**.

📍 **Mawson Centre, Mawson Lakes**
📅 **Sunday 28 June 2026**
⏰ **10:00am – 1:00pm**

Whether you donate one blanket, a few pantry staples, or a bag of groceries, your generosity will help a local family through the colder months.

Can't make it on the day?

You can still make a difference by sharing this post with your friends, family, workplace or community groups. The more people we reach, the more families we can help.
