Thereโ€™s something special about gathering on the land, sitting together, and creating with our hands. ๐ŸŒฟ

Today we joined Catherine Fewingsโ€™ Drum Birthing Workshop at Harmony Retreat and spent the day crafting drums, sharing stories, enjoying the sunshine, and connecting in community.

A number of the drums created today will soon find their way back into the tipi for our Drumming & Song Circle in two weeksโ€™ time, where theyโ€™ll be available for attendees to borrow if they donโ€™t yet have a drum of their own.

A beautiful day, beautiful people, and a reminder of how much magic can be found in simply coming together. ๐Ÿ’›

This week invites us to reflect on the kind of Australia we want to create together โ€” one built on respect, understanding, truth-telling and meaningful relationships.

At Harmony Retreat, we are grateful to gather on the lands of the Bindjareb people of the Bibbulmen Nation. We acknowledge their enduring connection to Country, culture, community and story, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We are particularly grateful to the Elders who welcome us, guide us and generously share their culture with our community throughout the year. Their wisdom enriches our lives and deepens our connection to this land.

Reconciliation is not something that happens in a single week. It is an ongoing commitment to listening, learning, reflecting and walking together.

Happy 1st Birthday to Lucy and Leo! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰

What a year itโ€™s been. From two tiny little lambs to the cheeky, lovable characters they are today. There have been plenty of laughs, a few challenges, lots of noise (especially from Lucy ๐Ÿ˜†), and more work than we ever expectedโ€ฆ but we wouldnโ€™t have it any other way.

And along the way, they gained their senior sidekick, Alphie, who has patiently put up with their antics and helped show them the ropes. โค๏ธ

We recently took a much-needed mini break down to Denmark with the dogs ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒฟ

The weather absolutely turned it on for us, and it was exactly what we needed. Slow mornings, nature walks, fresh air, beautiful scenery, and time to properly switch off for a little while.

Sometimes stepping away from the to-do list and changing the scenery is the reset we donโ€™t realise we need.

Weโ€™ve had a last-minute cancellation, so we now have some paddock camping sites available this long weekend at Harmony Retreat ๐ŸŒฟโ›บ๏ธ

If youโ€™ve been feeling like a little escape into nature, this could be the perfect chance to slow down for a couple of days. Camp amongst the gum trees, enjoy the peaceful farm atmosphere, say hello to the animals, and unwind by the fire pit.

These spots usually book out over long weekends, so we thought weโ€™d pop up a quick post in case anyone was looking for a last-minute getaway.

Autumn camping season has definitely arrivedโ€ฆ weโ€™ve been preparing for a busy weekend, while also getting the place ready for winter โ›บ๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ

Todayโ€™s been full of all the everyday jobsโ€ฆ cleaning gutters, sorting wood and burn piles, feeding animals, cleaning out garages, and watching cheeky escapee pigs ๐Ÿคช

Weโ€™ve got campers here for the weekend, the weatherโ€™s been beautiful, and the farm is starting to settle into its winter rhythm.

Itโ€™s really special seeing people slow down, unwind, and enjoy the space ๐Ÿ’—
