Beautiful night for a walk …. 5 seconds after I took the last photo Belle went to stand on a “stick” that then started moving. Luckily she stepped over the stick in time as it was a Red Belly Black Snake. Adrenalin still pumping!

Laundry day yay! I’m not sure why I love doing the laundry so much, it puts me at peace having everything hanging out to dry. Don’t get me wrong, I still hate putting it away, even in a caravan 😉

I’ve also come to the conclusion that Australia is MASSIVE! 10 weeks of travel and we’ve barely made a mark. We’ve informed school that we were mistaken when we said we’d be back next week 😉

Stayed at 2 different camp grounds, 1770 Eco Camp and The Reef. Both lovely in their own ways.

An absolute bucket load of campers at the campground here. Big 4 Breeze campground was basic, a bit like they were when I was a kid. Huge area fenced off for dogs to run, along from the camp, was great!

Ok time to catch up on our stays!
First stop after Hervey Bay, which was only 30 mins north was Trinity Islands Holday Park. It ended up the perfect place to be when Belle was at her worst health wise as it was quiet, peacful, spacious and we could have a fire which is her fav.

Been a bit lax on updating our trip mostly due to Belles poor health and debating whether we turn around or not. Belles meds have been put back up which is both frustrating (as ideally we need to get her off them) but also relieving as her symptoms seem to be slightly improving. Her big problem at the moment is trying to regulate her temp, she either feels freezing or boiling so it’s very uncomfortable for the poor girl.

This photo was taken at our last spot 1770/Agnes Waters. My absolute fav so far for scenery, just stunning!

We’ve gone a little further north today. Mid trip we were first on the scene for a rather nasty accident.
