Scotts Creek Vineyards - Wine & Glamping Scotts Creek near Morgan, 2 hours north of Adelaide. Wetlands, glamping, walking trails, wine & vines An environment in harmony with the natural land.

Imagine a place with abundant sunshine where rain falls just when the vineyards need it; whose ancient soils are ideal for our vines. Here the air is clean, water is precious and stars come out at night in their full glory. A sanctuary where beautiful rare birds, native animals and plants thrive beside our estate vineyards.

The best way to see this place is from the water.
Paddle out and it's all yours, still water, black swans up ahead, and not a sound but the birds.

Wetlands need to rise and fall to stay alive.

A natural one fills and dries in cycles, each stage feeding the next. Years of work have gone into restoring that rhythm here at Scotts Creek, and the wildlife keeps coming back because of it.

It's where our Juicy wines come from too. Peter Gajewski 'Juicy' tends the vines right beside the wetland, in the same country that brings the birds back.

Black swans everywhere you look today, quiet water, easy afternoon. Not a bad little spot to call home.

The water used to come this way.
Before the pumps and pipes, this old channel carried the Murray out to our land.
Some things are worth keeping, even when they've stopped working.

A view that holds a century of stories.

The Murray River Lookout faces the mighty river and its glorious limestone cliffs, where the late afternoon light softens to gold before the campfires are lit.

Along the path lie the remains of an old horse drawn tram wall, once used to carry fresh produce into Morgan and on to the markets of Adelaide and beyond. In its heyday, Morgan was one of South Australia's busiest river ports, with six trains a day and five steam driven cranes working around the clock through the high water season.

The same river still feeds the wetlands that run through our land.

A piece of history sits beside our vines.

The Von Rieben Hotel, established in 1855, was once a welcome stop for travellers crossing this remote country, a stone and timber home so known for its hospitality that it simply took the family's name.

Today the site rests beside a quiet lagoon, where fish and birdlife gather among the limestone soils that still shape our estate grown wines.

Our winemaker Peter Gajewski “Juicy” having a tasting in front of our eco-suite.

This time, we’re comparing our beautifully aged 2017 Assemblage with the vibrant new 2025 vintage

it’s amazing to see how the classic depth of the older release still stands alongside the fresh energy of 2025.

Two vintages, one story and both absolutely juicy.

Our winemaker Peter Gajewski 'Juicy' shares the story beneath our vines.
Ancient soils formed over millions of years, with traces of old oyster beds that remind us how special this place is.
Caring for and protecting this land is central to how we farm today and shape our wines for the future.
