The Design House sits beautifully in the landscape, providing impressive water views of King George Sound and surrounding bushland. Central to the Design House is the chefs kitchen, featuring Smeg appliances and incredible custom cabinetry constructed from Tasmanian Oak and Celery Top Pine and crafted by a master cabinet maker from Bruny Island. The Design house features two light filled bedrooms
each with their own bathroom. Each bedroom features French linen sheets, Aesop products and magnificent white fluffy towels for your use. To keep you bright and perky for travels and sight seeing you will be provided with a complementary breakfast basket of eggs, cereals, bread, croissants, butter, jam and OJ. We also provide snacks and local wine to make sure your night in gets off to a wonderful start. Spend the evening on the large, cushion filled, leather sofa with a wine and a book. Or indulge in a little screen time with some Netflix on the 42 inch 3D TV. The deck that surrounds most of the house is perfect for morning coffee or watching the sun go down over the water. The Design House is approx. 45 mins from Hobart International Airport and 40 minutes from the Port Arthur Historic site. Situated on the Forestier Peninsula, you are at the door step to some of the most incredible wilderness experiences and world heritage sites.
