Nothing beats an afternoon that rolls into a night like this 😃

​Started with that killer sunset bouncing off the caravan windows and now we’ve got the camp fire cranking, the BBQ sizzling and a cold drink in hand 🍺🥃

​But honestly, the best part of life on the road isn't just the places you see... it’s the people you meet along the way. Love how random chats turn into good laughs, and absolute strangers end up becoming life mates around the fire 🔥 as did Ian & Mary 5yrs ago now!

​Good times, better company. Wouldn't trade it for anything. 🪵🔥🍻

So close to home. Perfect for getting the kayaks & SUP on the water. So peaceful ✌️

Not sure if you're meant to, but 2 caravans were pulled up staying near the boat ramp on the big grass area. There is also the Lake Monduran caravan park a couple of km down the road 😀

North Burnett Regional Council is inviting tenders for the sale of the Mingo Crossing Caravan Park business, located at 2670 Gayndah Mount Perry Road, Mingo, Queensland.

An adjacent property on Gayndah Mount Perry Road is also available for purchase, either as part of the Caravan Park offering or as a separate sale.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable operator to revitalise the caravan park, enhance the visitor experience, and support growth in the North Burnett’s accommodation sector.

Under the proposed arrangement, the successful tenderer will purchase the site including the land and all existing assets.

Council sees this as an important step in supporting the development of the site while contributing to the region’s tourism and broader economic growth.

I have had quite a few people on different pages ask me the price to stay at Mingo Crossing, Qld, so the lovely caretaker, Sonia Bryan, gathered some great info for us 😀👍 Thanks mate, it was awesome to meet ya & I love my pressie!
Google prices are not right, not even a little, so I hope this helps 🙏🏻

Don't miss the camp oven under the stars night if you're about. But be aware, I think they are almost booked out!
They also have catfish fishing competitions for those keen fishermen 🎣

Also, if you're interested in getting your boat or jet ski licence, Damien is great (contact him for pricing). He does days at Mingo Crossing and a little 🐦 told me he is in talks about doing some river tours 😀 (thanks Sonia).
