We sat down to write a short wrap up post about Fearless 2026โฆ but honestly, it proved impossible. There was just too much heart, courage, creativity, connection, laughter, healing and absolute untamed magic packed into one weekend to keep this brief.
So grab yourself a cuppa as we share with you what happened when 380 women gathered in the forest for Fearless 2026.
We were lovingly welcomed to Country by Alice Kearing and from that moment on, there was a deep sense that the land itself was holding us โ grounding us, softening us, and supporting everything that unfolded over the weekend.
For three days, women laid down the weight they carry every day. The responsibilities. The masks. The pressure to hold it all together. And in its place came something elseโฆ deep exhaling, wild dancing, raw honesty, tears that needed to fall, laughter that echoed through the trees, women cheering for complete strangers like they were lifelong friends, hands creating, deep connection around the fire, guilt free naps, women remembering parts of themselves they thought they had lost. There was something incredibly powerful about watching so many women choose themselves โ some for the first time in a very long time. And with nearly 50 workshops to choose from, there was a smorgasbord of experiences to be had.
The weather was beautiful, the forest was alive, and Darlene โ our incredible fire keeper โ kept the fires burning all weekend to keep everyone warm and grounded. Ugg boots, dressing gowns, oodies and approximately 47 layers of blankets did the rest during the cold mornings and eveningsโฆ with the exception of the very brave (or slightly unhinged ๐) women who willingly joined the cold-water plunge on Saturday morning. There was definitely a moment of โwhat the f* #% were we thinking! But once again โ it was a huge moment of empowerment for everyone involved.
One of the biggest highlights was the Fearless Showcase. Hundreds of women stepped onto the stage to share what they had learned over the weekend. Bellydance, hip hop, singing, silk fans, songwriting, danceโฆ women backing themselves, cheering each other on, and allowing their untamed selves to be seen. It was emotional, empowering, hilarious, inspiring and unforgettable all at once. The camaraderie and support between the women was something you could actually feel in the space. Women cheering wildly and celebrating every single person who had the courage to step onto that stage. It wasnโt about perfection โ it was about women feeling safe enough to be fully seen.
And the entertainment across the entire weekend was extraordinary. We were so deeply moved and inspired by Rose Parker, Nat Ripepi, World Music Choir, DJ Andrea, Danidoo Butterfly, Marie O'Dwyer, Lily Lawrence, Inge van Winkel, Willow Verbaan, Cerrie Beech, Jaxx Thomas and Dizzy Dilemma. What a gift you all brought to Fearless!
Our big surprise this year was Lani from Medusa Reptile Services , who brought along her beautiful collection of snakes and lizards. It was amazing watching so many women step outside their comfort zones โ some cautiously, some very bravely ๐ โ to spend time with these stunning creatures. By the end of the session, there were women proudly holding snakes who never would have imagined themselves doing that a few days earlier. Very Untamed.
The theme โUntamedโ wove itself through every part of the weekend. Sometimes it was loud, bold and wildly expressive โ women dancing on stage, singing at the top of their lungs, drumming in the forest, trying things they never imagined theyโd have the courage to do. Other times it was quiet and deeply personal โ women finding space to take a nap, opening up honestly, trusting their instincts, letting go a little, taking up space, choosing joy, choosing authenticity.
A huge thank you to Nat Ripepi, whose beautiful song โUntamedโ inspired this yearโs theme and became part of the heartbeat of the whole weekend. Standing amongst hundreds of women singing those words together felt electric โ It wasnโt just a song by the end of the weekendโฆ it had become an experience we had all lived together.
Fearless is never created by just one or two people. Itโs a huge collaboration built by many hands and hearts. This year, more than 140 women answered the call and helped bring Fearless 2026 to life. The amount of care, passion, energy and love poured into this gathering by so many people is honestly hard to put into words. There is something incredibly powerful about so many women coming together with a shared vision to create a space where other women can feel safe, supported, inspired and free to be themselves.
To our facilitators โ thank you for holding such powerful spaces with heart, wisdom and care and giving so many women an opportunity to try something new.
To our therapists โ thank you for the tenderness, grounding and support you offered so many women throughout the weekend.
To our stall holders โ thank you for bringing beauty, creativity and magic into the village.
To our artists and performers โ thank you for moving us, inspiring us and helping create the heartbeat of the weekend.
To our photographers โ thank you for capturing the spirit of Fearless โ we canโt wait to see and share the photos.
To Gail, Sue, Amanda and the team of volunteers, sound crew and mental health support crew โ thank you for stepping in wherever needed and giving so much of yourselves behind the scenes.
To Anne and the kitchen crew โ thank you for nourishing 380 women with so much love and hard work.
To Kate and Molly โ thanks for the much-needed coffee throughout the weekend.
Special shout out to our โsh*t sorter outerersโ you know who you are โ thanks for being the legends that kept all of the wheels in motion over the weekend.
And to our incredible set up and pack down family (including a few pretty awesome men) โ we honestly could not do this without you. The building of Harmony Village starts months before the gates even open, with busy bees, planning, lifting, building, decorating, problem solving and countless hours behind the scenes. Over the years, this little crew has become like family to us, and one of the most beautiful parts of Fearless is creating this magical space together. Every year you step up more and more as the vision grows, pouring your hearts, energy and time into bringing it all to life. We are endlessly grateful for every single one of you.
A very special mention to Troy, who works just as hard as we do because he truly believes in Fearless and what it means for the women who attend. For months leading up to the gathering, he works his absolute ass off behind the scenes โ building, fixing, lifting, hauling, problem solving, moving things from one end of the property to the other, and somehow making our ambitious ideas actually happen. There are countless hours spent setting up infrastructure, working out logistics, putting out spot fires, and yesโฆ raking leaves (your favourite job ๐). So much of what makes Fearless feel safe, functional and magical exists because of the work he quietly pours into it long before anyone arrives. Thank you for everything you give to bring this vision to life.
And finallyโฆ to every woman who came along. Thank you for trusting us. Thank you for showing up exactly as you are. Thank you for bringing your stories, your courage, your softness, your silliness, your grief, your joy and your untamed selves into the forest.
The wheels are already in motion for Fearless 2027 and we really hope youโll join us again. ๐ฟ
