We live & breathe Canada snow holidays. Ski Holidays and Tours was founded by Aussie, Sue Thorley, fifteen years ago when she fell in love with Canada on a family ski trip. She loved it so much she bought property at Big White, set up shop and started travelling the Powder Highway. The rest, as they say, is history. **Important Announcement For Travellers To/From Vancouver International Airport **

Due to a severe Winter storm in Vancouver, a number of departing and arriving flights have been canceled or delayed.

YVR has advised passengers who are expecting to fly today and this week are advised to check with their airline directly on the status of their flight. We are asking people to please not come to YVR if they do not absolutely need to.

Under New Management

After 20 years of running Ski Holidays and Tours and Stonebridge At Big White, Sue Thorley has made the challenging, yet exciting decision to retire. While she loved every moment helping her clients plan their Canadian ski vacations, she is excited to spend more time skiing and enjoying life in Kelowna and Australia. Wishing you a wonderful retirement Sue!

Introducing the new owner of Ski Holidays and Tours and Stonebridge at Big White - Rob Po***ck.
Since the age of 7, Rob has skied every slope Australia and New Zealand have to offer. With 3 children who have been skiing since they were 4 years old, Rob feels it’s now time to explore and enjoy the ski terrain of the Northern Hemisphere, in particular Canada.

In March 2023 Rob and his ski-loving family will set off on an adventure of a lifetime. Where they will explore Alberta and British Columbia on a road trip, visiting many of the ski resorts along the way with some back country offerings.

Rob and his family will be in Kelowna November 2023, where they will be based over the ski season. His eldest child will be completing his instructors course, while the entire family experiences what BC and Canada have to offer first hand. Including exploring all the big resorts, hitting the Powder Highway and trying their hand at Cat Skiing, snow shoeing, heli skiing to name a few.

Excited to continue the same great service and experience you have come to expect from Sue. Rob also has some exciting changes that will evolve in 2023. Rob was hand selected by Sue to take over both brands and Rob is dedicated to providing you with everything you need to know about Canada and planning your perfect vacation.

The Ski Holidays and Tours and Stonebridge At Big White team welcomes Rob onboard and we are excited to see the direction he leads us in for 2023 and beyond.
