Dear Your Majesty King Charles III,

Sorry I haven’t touched base in a while, life’s been a bit of a circus here on my end and I bet your kingly schedule keeps you from our regular correspondence as well.

I’ll cut to the chase. I heard about your recent health hiccup through the cancer grapevine. My deepest sympathies, it’s never good news to hear. If you need me to put you in touch with some good oncologists I can maybe make some calls but something tells me you’re sorted with a good family doc. I can however hook you up with some laughs, famously the best medicine. I’ve got these Little Boxes of F # and here in Australia people with cancer love them. I reckon they’ll tickle your royal funny bone.

I’ll chuck in a couple so you can share them around the palace, you might need to borrow one of the guards though because people tend to nick them.

Anyway, I’m sure you’ve got ribbons to cut, people to knight, all sorts of royal stuff to do so I don’t want to steal too much of your time. I just wanted you to know that you’re in my thoughts and I hope we can find the time to catch up soon.

PS: For those who haven’t seen a smidge of the latest news cycle, the King has been diagnosed with cancer, proving, again, that cancer does not discriminate, and rudely interrupts all families.

PPS: I used my best pen and sat very upright when I scribed this correspondence so forth notwithstanding the hithertos and the whatnots. Forthwith. And stuff.
