احتفلت مجموعة فنادق الخليج باختتام النسخة الثالثة من برنامجها الصيفي للتدريب لعام 2026، الذي أتاح للطلبة البحرينيين والخريجين الجدد فرصة اكتساب الخبرات العملية وتطوير مهاراتهم المهنية عبر مختلف فنادق المجموعة وشركاتها التابعة.

وامتد البرنامج على مدار ثمانية أسابيع، تخللها تدريب ميداني في مختلف الأقسام التشغيلية والإدارية، بإشراف كوادر متخصصة، بما أسهم في تعزيز جاهزية المشاركين لدخول سوق العمل واكتساب خبرات عملية في قطاع الضيافة.

ويأتي البرنامج امتداداً لجهود المجموعة في الاستثمار في الكفاءات الوطنية ودعم البحرنة، واستكمالاً لمسيرتها في تأهيل المواهب البحرينية، التي بدأت بإطلاق «برنامج المستقبل» عام 1974، بما يعكس التزامها بإعداد جيل جديد من الكفاءات المؤهلة للمساهمة في مستقبل قطاع الضيافة في مملكة البحرين.

Gulf Hotels Group (GHG) celebrated the successful conclusion of the third edition of its Summer Internship Programme 2026, which provided Bahraini students and recent graduates with valuable hands-on experience and opportunities to develop their professional skills across the Group’s diverse portfolio of hotels and subsidiary companies.

Spanning eight weeks, the programme offered participants practical training across a range of operational and administrative departments, under the guidance of experienced hospitality professionals. The initiative was designed to strengthen their professional capabilities, enhance their career readiness, and provide meaningful exposure to the hospitality industry.

The programme reflects GHG’s longstanding commitment to investing in national talent, advancing Bahrainisation, and nurturing the next generation of hospitality professionals. Building on a legacy of talent development that began with the launch of the Al Mostaqbal Programme in 1974, the initiative reinforces the Group’s continued dedication to empowering Bahraini youth and developing the skilled workforce that will help shape the future of Bahrain’s hospitality sector.

حصدت مجموعة فنادق الخليج درع التميز الاجتماعي ضمن الدورةالخامسة من «درع البلاد للمسؤولية الاجتماعية للشركات 2026»، حيث تسلّم الجائزة السيد أحمد جناحي، الرئيس التنفيذي للمجموعة، من معالي الشيخ خالد بن عبدالله آل خليفة، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، خلال حفل تكريم المؤسسات المتميزة في مجال المسؤولية الاجتماعية.

وجاء هذا التكريم بعد منافسة شهدت مشاركة 41 شركة، لتكون مجموعة فنادق الخليج واحدة من خمس مؤسسات فقط حصدت جوائز الدورة الخامسة، في إنجاز يُضاف إلى مسيرتها في مجال المسؤولية الاجتماعية.

ويأتي هذا التقدير تتويجاً لجهود المجموعة المتواصلة في تمكين الشباب، ودعم التعليم، ورعاية مختلف فئات المجتمع، من خلال شراكات استراتيجية ومبادرات نوعية تعكس التزامها بدور يتجاوز خدمات الضيافة، ليسهم في تحقيق أثر اجتماعي إيجابي ومستدام.

Gulf Hotels Group has received the Social Excellence Award at the 5th Al Bilad Corporate Social Responsibility Awards 2026. The award was presented to Mr. Ahmed Janahi, Group Chief Executive Officer, by His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, during an official ceremony recognising organisations for their outstanding contributions to corporate social responsibility.

With 41 companies participating in this year’s awards, Gulf Hotels Group was among only five organisations to receive recognition, marking a significant milestone in the Group’s corporate social responsibility journey.

This achievement acknowledges the Group’s continued commitment to youth empowerment, education, and community wellbeing through strategic partnerships and impactful initiatives. It further reinforces Gulf Hotels Group’s dedication to extending its role beyond hospitality to create meaningful opportunities and deliver lasting, positive social impact.

من ذاكرة الثمانينات… نفتح صفحاتٍ من زمنٍ جميل، حين كانت مجموعة فنادق الخليج تُعرف باسم شركة فنادق البحرين، وكان فندق الخليج شاهداً على بدايات حكايةٍ امتدت عبر العقود.

نعود بكم إلى مشاهد تحمل ملامح مرحلة لا تُنسى من تاريخ الضيافة في البحرين.

تغيّرت التفاصيل، وتوالت الأجيال، وكبرت الطموحات… لكن روح الضيافة بقيت كما هي.

أعادت مجموعة فنادق الخليج افتتاح مطعم “تشاينا جاردن” بحلته الجديدة في فندق الخليج البحرين، بالتزامن مع مرور ثلاثة عقود على انطلاقه في عام 1996، تحت رعاية سعادة السيد عبدالله بن عادل فخرو، وزير الصناعة والتجارة. وشهد حفل الافتتاح حضور سفير جمهورية الصين الشعبية لدى مملكة البحرين، إلى جانب عدد من كبار الشخصيات وقيادات قطاع الأعمال وممثلي وسائل الإعلام المحلية، ورئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة فنادق الخليج ونائب الرئيس وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة.

ويأتي تجديد “تشاينا جاردن” ضمن خطة أوسع تنفذها مجموعة فنادق الخليج لتجديد المطاعم المتميزة في فندق الخليج، في إطار استثماراتها المستمرة في علاماتها التجارية الراسخة في قطاع المطاعم. وشملت أعمال التطوير مؤخراً اثنين من مطاعم الفندق العريقة، هما “تخت جمشيد” و”كافيه ديليس”، إلى جانب أعمال التجديد المستمرة التي تشهدها مرافق فندق الخليج.

Gulf Hotels Group has reopened China Garden at Gulf Hotel Bahrain following a full renovation, marking three decades since its 1996 debut, under the patronage of H.E. Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, alongside business officials, representatives of Bahrain’s media, and GHG’s Chairman, Vice Chairman and Board of Directors.

The reopening forms part of a broader renovation plan under way across Gulf Hotel Bahrain’s dining portfolio, as Gulf Hotels Group reinvests in some of its most established restaurant brands. Alongside China Garden, GHG has also recently completed renovations of two other long-standing restaurants at the hotel: Takht Jamsheed and Café Délice, while the hotel continues its own phased renovation.
