Happy International Tourist Guide Day !! Today we honor these Heroes who help make our Safari Experiences magical.

Meet Tebogo Gaotshabege who is a Tour Guide at Drifters Lodge Maun, and has been guiding for 8 years and counting. Initially Tebogo worked as an Art Teacher, however his love for nature prompted him to follow his passion and enroll in guiding school. He was trained as a Nature Guide and walking Safari Guide and to this day utilizes these skills to make Guests stay memorable.

"Nothing is more fulfilling than witnessing the awe on peoples faces as nature showcases itself, that's my favorite part of my job. For those wishing to be a part of this profession, I would say, get hands on experience, learn from seasoned guides, be mentally and physically fit. be patient, love what you do and don’t compromise the quality of service "
