Botho Corps Trust nurtures and promotes mental health and wellness for children, individuals, organizations, communities and the nation at large. Through outreach activities and community-based programmes, we meet people where they are to shed light on mental health issues and create space for healing. Working in alignment with both the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 3 “Good Health and Well-being” and Botswana’s Vision 2036, we provide both on-the-ground resources for communities and national support for the development of mental health infrastructure.

Monetary Donations: We are currently seeking partners to help cover diesel and driver’s salary costs, to be able to offer our free community bus service for the school year that transports 70 children 20km daily. We are also seeking funding to be able to offer and expand our ongoing school holiday Youth Sports and Wellness Camps.

MAWS is run by a small but passionate team of volunteers who are determined to improve the welfare of domestic dogs and cats across Botswana.
Mission: To promote the alleviation of animal suffering through education initiatives, encouraging responsible domestic animal ownership.
To provide basic veterinary care to the low income and vulnerable pop**ation.
Besides our fundraisings, we completely rely in the generosity of the community, private businesses and organizations to make our work a reality. Their continuous support is invaluable in driving forward our mission and sustaining our ongoing projects.
If you would like to contribute, there are many ways to do it:

Bana Ba Letsatsi (Children of the Sun / We are Sunshine Children)'s mission is to empower vulnerable children and youth to reach their full potential, by creating a safe and compassionate environment, with support and access to education.

Bana Ba Letsatsi Trust was established in 2002 to respond to the growing number of children at risk in Maun and officially registered as a trust in April 2004. The organisation endeavours to keep orphaned and vulnerable children off the streets and away from negative influences such as glue sniffing and petty crime. Bana Ba Letsatsi Trust is a rehabilitation centre where discipline, education, counselling, sports, hygiene, and meals are provided to a selected number of orphans vulnerable children and youth.

All activities designed and executed at Bana Ba Letsatsi Trust have the ultimate goal to support, encourage, rehabilitate, and empower all children and youth to remain in school or return to mainstream schools, establish a drug and crime free life, and become productive members of society. The Trust encourages positive action from the caregivers of all children and the establishment of community support for those children at risk in their society.

Coaching Conservation Program Mission : To conserve natural resources by using sport to engender self-respect and inspire a generation of kids who care - about themselves, each other and the natural world around them.

First, we train unemployed youth as coaches. Then we provide them with jobs to teach kids about conservation which results in a generation of Kids who Care; the future leaders of conservation. We use sport to engage, play as our mechanism and Learning from Wildlife as our teaching model. All Coaching Conservation lessons are 100% play based and have 3 parts: Meet, Be and Help. Kids first meet an animal coach and find out about what makes it cool. Then they learn from it by becoming it and by mimicking the characteristic behaviours that make it successful in the wild - both as soccer skills on the field and life skills at home. Finally, we role play the primary conservation challenge that animal faces, and how we, as kids, can help. We empower girls by empowering girls and boys together. Studies show that children who compete in mixed teams learn to respect and rely on each other, and develop better gender relationships as they grow.

is a human rights organization that primarily supports women and children who experience abuse of all forms. WAR was founded in 1993 in Maun, Northwest District, by four women who came together as a result of their concern following the lack of support as well as access to justice for r**e victims. The organization was founded on the ethos of activism and volunteerism hence it is non-profit. WAR was formally registered as a trust in 1995. WAR's strategies are geared at addressing the social issues that contribute to the abuse of women and children through offering psychosocial counseling, safe house/ Shelter, public education, advocacy, and lobbying as well as skills empowerment.
