In the United States and Canada, where cannabis is already legal or partially legal, legal, well-regulated industries have emerged that have created jobs and boosted the economy. The same can happen here in Belize, where the government can regulate the growth, sale, and distribution of cannabis to ensure that it benefits Belizeans.

In terms of children, a regulated cannabis industry can actually help keep the drug away from them.
