Our neighbors caught a fish...

THE FISH THAT SWALLOWED JONAH

A monster fish was caught near Hopkins yesterday and can be seen in the attached photo shared by Keyren Williams.

The fish was so huge that commenters immediately started cracking jokes, with some asking if this was the same sea creature that swallowed the prophet Jonah.

While Hopkins fishermen are no strangers to impressive catches, this one stood out for its sheer size.

One thing is certain: if this fish had a story to tell, it would probably be longer than the one in the Bible.

Belize’s waters continue to prove that you never know what might be lurking beneath the surface.
