I’m sure everyone needs a break from all the COVID-19 stuff. We have some dates open at our place in Placencia, Belize. Let us know if you would like to book some dates. Our VRBO number is 1147657, if you want to look at the dates and photos. Right now the country is not letting visitors in. We will keep monitoring the situation and let you know when it does. The latest review by a guest at our place in Placencia, Belize. My wife does an awesome job of managing our place and keeping up with our VRBO site. Our manager in Belize, Barbara Slade, does an awesome job of taking care of our guest throughout their stay. If you are looking for a vacation in paradise, let us know.

"My husband and I were looking for a quiet, lovely beach home where we could relax, read, swim and meditate with little or no interference for a month. Los Porticos, especially this well maintained, comfortable two bedroom villa we stayed in was perfect! Our daughters joined us half way through the trip and also loved the home, location, proximity to sweet Placencia town, walks on the sandy beach, and time in Nature to relax as well. The grounds were immaculately kept; everyone was very friendly and helpful, yet there was certainly a respect for privacy. The owners have decorated their condo tastefully and provided everything from pots and pans, bedding, both bath and beach towels, bikes, to a "welcome-to-our home" Welcome Basket. It was delightful being so very close to the large swimming pool and a step away from the beach. We would definitely come stay here again. I absolutely rate it a five star....The owners were very flexible, professional, honest and stellar to work with."

Enjoyed a beautiful day with the Weekend Wanderers. Traveled by boat from Placencia to Punta Negra, where we enjoyed swimming, sunning, and a tasty fresh fish lunch. We ended the adventure by snorkeling the sunken cayes.

Two years ago today, we made our first trip to Belize. Our intentions were to check out Placencia, look at homes and have a little R and R. We fell in love with Placencia and found a home we love. We didn’t realize we would be celebrating an anniversary on this trip til it showed up on Facebook.

Hey friends! Southwest is offering low fares from Houston Hobby to Belize City if you book by 6/7. Travel valid 8/21/18 – 12/12/18! Would be a great time to see Placencia and stay in our wonderful villa by the sea.

Saturday Trish and I headed down to Belize Ocean Club to check out the Parrothead Beach Bash with music by Kelly McGuire and Bill Cockrell. Had a wonderful time!

Wow! I’ve been here a little over a week, but I’ve done so much and met so many new people. Our fishing/snorkeling trip with Alfred Williams was a huge success. My new friends, Roland and Susan, from Conroe, Texas joined Trish, Linda and I. We caught barracuda and Spanish mackerel. Then snorkeled Silk Caye, where we saw turtles, spotted eagle rays and nurse sharks. On our way back in, we were escorted by several beautiful dolphins. Couldn’t ask for a lovelier day!
