These are the current regulations for visitors entering Belize. We are closely following all information from the Government of Belize Press Office, the Belize Tourism Board and the Ministry of Health and Wellness concerning all covid mitigation efforts and regulations.

The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) advises that the Government of Belize has taken a decision that travellers entering the country are no longer required to download and complete the Belize Travel Health App prior to arrival in Belize. This recent adjustment to Belize’s COVID-19 Prevention Regulations is outlined in Statutory Instrument No.51 of 2021.

At Stingray Station Ltd, we are working to prepare to safely open our new units to guests soon.

We are in currently in the process of obtaining our BTB license, and we are putting in place the protocols and equipment necessary to obtain Gold Standard Certification by the Belize Tourism Board.

Our goal is to make sure that our guests have a clean, comfortable place to stay while having a good time here in San Pedro. And, at the same time, we'd also like our guests to know that we take their safety seriously.

We have hand sanitizing stations both inside and outside of each of our units, and we are prepared to follow all BTB Gold Standard protocols for cleaning and sanitizing of the apartments. We will have a covid protocol in place, just so that we are prepared for anything that might arise.

We are offering our one-bedroom apartment, the Eagle Ray Suite, for short-term rentals at special rates.

This completely new one-bedroom apartment has all new hardwood cabinets and a dining bar in the kitchen, along with new appliances, a new queen bed, on-demand hot water and two new split a/c units.

Stingray Station is located just south of the airport in San Pedro. It is about a seven-minute walk to the beach, and we walk to town in about 20-25 minutes or so.

Our building is a triplex with both a new two-bedroom apartment and a new one-bedroom apartment downstairs, and we live upstairs.

We offer the units as divers' retreats for mature, quiet adults, and there is no smoking of any kind permitted on the premises.

Stingray Station: Legacy Building with a Modern Touch

Stingray Station is located in the building that once housed one of the most popular restaurants on the island, Casa Picasso. Legend has it that the restaurant was named Casa Picasso because there is not a single straight wall or right angle anywhere in this legacy building.

In 2018, when we were looking for a property to purchase in San Pedro, we fell in love with the quirks of this funky building and decided to purchase it as both a place to live, upstairs, and as a location in which to develop some unique rental units in the space that had served as the bar and restaurant.

We hope that we have managed to maintain the funky character of this San Pedro landmark while creating our two unique apartments.

Stingray Station offers two units, both with full-sized kitchens and appliances, as well as high-efficiency air conditioning throughout the apartments.
