Our journey began in 2021, during a family vacation to Belize with close friends. We
were instantly captivated—by the beauty of the land, the warmth of the people, the rich cultural diversity, and the sense of wonder that seemed to be around every corner. Year after year, we explored more of this incredible country—immersing ourselves in different regions, meeting amazing people, and discovering the depth of Belize’s history, culture, and natural splendor. But it was a drive along the stunning Hummingbird Highway that changed everything. As we arrived on the southern coast and stumbled upon the peaceful communities of Hopkins and Sittee River Village, we knew we had found something truly special. Friendly, safe, and full of charm—this felt like home.
