🐓🌿 Some campgrounds have welcome committees… ours has feathers! 😂❤️

You never quite know where you'll spot our free-roaming chickens at Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park!

One minute they're happily scratching around in the grass, the next they're off exploring another corner of the property like they have somewhere very important to be. 🐓🍂

It's these little things that make life here so special. Fresh country air, animals roaming around, and the simple joy of slowing down and enjoying nature.

And we absolutely LOVE seeing the smiles our feathered friends bring to our guests' faces! ❤️

Congratulations!!!

📣Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! Annapolis Royal Town Crier recognized with Provincial Volunteer Award

The Town of Annapolis Royal is proud to celebrate Town Crier Christine Connolly who has been recognized with a Provincial Volunteer Award for her committment, dedication and service to Annapolis Royal.

Christine has been an active volunteer in Annapolis Royal serving on many local committees, boards and volunteer organizations. In the role of Town Crier she made 95 proclamations in 2025 to promote Annapolis Royal and area at events from flag raisings to birthday celebrations, to store openings and parades, and every Saturday at the Farmers’ and Traders’ market. She also participated in the International Town Crier Competition in New Glasgow representing the Town of Annapolis Royal. Christine is a tremendous asset to every event and organization she gets involved with and is a wonderful representative of the Town.

Congratulations Christine on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your continued service to the community and Town of Annapolis Royal.

This Thanksgiving, our hearts are especially full. ❤️

As we reflect on another wonderful season at Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park, we have SO much to be thankful for!

🍁 Our amazing guests — Whether you've stayed for a weekend, spent the summer with us, or return year after year, thank you for choosing our little corner of Nova Scotia to make your memories.

❤️ Our incredible team — The hard work, dedication, and care you put into everything you do never go unnoticed. We couldn't do this without you!

🏡 Our wonderful community — We're so grateful for the friendships, kindness, and support that surround our family and business.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Our growing family — This year has been extra special as we welcomed our newest little campground helper! Our hearts (and hands! 😂) have never been fuller.

☀️ Monday Inspiration ☕️🐾

A new week doesn’t mean you need to have everything figured out.

Around here, that looks like fresh air, quiet mornings, family time, wagging tails and probably a cup of coffee that gets reheated at least twice. 😂☕️

🍂🏕️ Who says camping season has to end when the temperatures drop?!

This week, we packed up the family and headed out for a little fall camping adventure! ❤️

Was it chilly? Absolutely! 😂 But honestly, there's something pretty magical about camping this time of year.

🍁 Beautiful fall colours
🔥 Cozy campfires
🌲 Crisp, fresh air
🏕️ And practically the ENTIRE campground to ourselves!

As campground owners, we spend so much of our summer helping other families make memories. It was pretty special to get away and make a few of our own. 🤍

The weather was cool, but the memories were absolutely priceless.

And it reminded us why we love this lifestyle so much. ❤️

🙈 When the boss asks if you’re ready for your shift…

Our newest little member of the Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park crew seems to have already mastered the art of pretending he didn’t hear us. 😂❤️

Sitting in his little chair, covering his face and apparently hoping nobody notices him…

Sorry buddy, campground life starts young around here! 😂

His big sister has already spent years helping with the bunnies, feeding the goats, stacking firewood and keeping Mom & Dad on their toes — so we have a feeling it won’t be long before this little guy is following right behind her. 🐰🌲

For now though, we’ll let him stick to his current responsibilities:

🍼 Eat
😴 Sleep
🥰 Snuggle
🙈 Hide from management

We know so many of you watched our family wait for his arrival this season, and it feels pretty special to finally have him here with us. ❤️

So we need your help… what campground job should we assign our newest little employee when he gets a bit bigger? 😂👇

🍂 The Daddy-Daughter Crew is on the job! ❤️

High season may be behind us, but the work around Upper Clements Cottages & RV Park definitely doesn’t stop!

Today, these two are busy cleaning up around the property and getting everything ready for the colder months ahead. 🍁🧹

One of our favourite parts of running this place as a family is having our little helper right there beside us. Whether she’s collecting apples for the goats, stacking firewood, helping with cleanup or simply supervising Dad to make sure he’s doing it right 😂 — she’s always ready to lend a hand.

There’s lots to do before winter arrives, but somehow it’s a little more fun with this crew on the job. ❤️

Here’s to crisp fall days, working together and raising our little girl right alongside this crazy adventure of ours. 🍂
