Summer arrived softly.

In the petals, the breeze, and the cottonwood floating through the air like tiny snowflakes.

The days are longer, the flowers are blooming, and the forest is alive.

And we couldn’t imagine a better place to spend it.

We never get tired of this view.

No matter the season, Turtle Mountain always finds a way to surprise us. Steady, imposing, and impossible to ignore, it watches over the valley just as it always has.

Today, the trail was painted purple with blooming lupins, guiding the way through the Frank Slide landscape. The air felt a little warmer, the sky a little brighter, and every turn offered another reason to stop and take it all in.

We’ve walked this trail countless times, and somehow it always feels different. Always beautiful. Always worth it.

Maybe that’s what happens when Turtle Mountain is the first thing you see each morning.

Somehow, it never gets old. 💜

🌿 A Little Longer. A Little Slower.

The wildflowers are still here.

Tucked beside trails, growing between rocks, hiding along riverbanks and forest paths.

A reminder that spring hasn’t quite finished its story yet.

If you’re visiting the Pass this month, slow down for a moment. Look a little closer.

You might find an entire world blooming at your feet.

Some days are sunshine. Some days are moody skies.

The Pass has been giving us a little bit of everything lately — cool mornings, dramatic clouds, fresh mountain air, wildflowers beginning to bloom, and those moments when the sun breaks through and reminds you why summer here feels so special.

The trails are getting greener every day, the views keep changing by the hour, and there’s still a little snow hanging on in the peaks.

Not quite summer yet. But we’re getting close. 🌿🏔️

Today we walked through history—hiking the same land, visiting the Interpretive Centre, and taking in the quiet power of this place.
