Two Weeks in Our New Home 🏡
Our first two weeks in the new home have been anything but slow! 😅
Day 1: Cut two large windows in the basement and turned the old “cat” room into two bedrooms.
Day 2: Cut down the railing and added outdoor lights.
Day 3: Got gas working to the exterior firepit, BBQ, and garage heater. Next on the list: the circa-1975 gas lamp! 🔥
Day 4: Wrapped the front pillars in cedar.
Day 5: Started the basement reno.
Day 6: Added cedar shakes to the front.
Day 7: Removed a wall.
Days 10–13: Escaped to the cabin/farm. 🌲
Day 14: Dug the holes for the deck.

Two weeks in, and we’re already making this place feel a little more like home. ❤️
