👋 Say hi to .n.nosh owner Dalia and innkeeper Karen 👋
We met with Karen for a little 4 question rapid-fire quiz about her and this stunning Bloomfield Main Street bed & breakfast.

1. How did you end up hosting .n.nosh? - I moved to Prince Edward County in September 2022 to run the NapNNosh after falling in love with the house and The County while visiting friends.

2. Fave thing about running a Bed & Breakfast? - I absolutely love meeting all the fabulous people, getting to know them, and hearing about their different experiences. It is good for the soul.

3. Fave breakfast item? - I really like to cook an egg and ham egg bite. I also love to create different pastries. My latest favourite is a puff pastry with honey, thyme, sliced peaches, and feta cheese. It’s been a big hit.

4. What sets you apart? - We offer fresh baked goodies in our dining room every afternoon. Our motto is “come in and get cozy”. Between our modern decor and the smell of freshly baked pastries, we make sure you feel welcome!

A taste of Spain right in the ❤️ of Picton. is a favourite restaurant recommendation of many of our bed & breakfast hosts. Why? It's simple, everything is on point from the flavourful Tapas, the decadent paellas, and the best cocktails to the ambiance, and impeccable service.
This main street restaurant has guests raving each and every time!

HOT TIP: make your restaurant reservations way ahead of your stay whenever possible. This way you'll not only be dining at the best places but you'll also be certain to secure that great table for the time slot you want!

HOT TIP n.2: Mention to your restaurant server, host or sommelier which bed & breakfast you're staying at. A little shameless name dropping might just work in your favour 😉

Or maybe you're more of a rock n'roll art lover, simply 👉 to see how renowned sculptor .ashbourne turns precious rocks into flowing pieces.

Most of you know about the amazing wineries here in Prince Edward County, but did you know that there are also some incredible micro-breweries here? So ditch the Rosé for a day and head over to .beer in Bloomfield for a flight of beer and some cool merch. Then keep going with that laid back spirit and 🤙chill out where industrial chic meets surfer vibes in Picton. And finally, you won't be too far to wind down and enjoy a pint on their Main Street patio.

Calling all food lovers from A to Z! Picton has great shopping options for you. Bring home some local food products and freshly made goods from (I mean, look at those strawberry coffee cakes!). Then, head towards Main Street for a stop to stock up on oils and beautiful olivewood bowls and kitchen tools. Speaking of kitchen tools, across the street, you'll find a chef's haven for every kitchen gadget you could dream of, a great selection of knives, and some curated cookbooks and bar wares. Jenny & Kyle, are lovely shopkeepers and are super knowledgeable, so don't hesitate to ask away!

Our final installment of designer bed and breakfasts in Prince Edward County. is a stand out home located minutes from Main street Picton in the historical part of town. It was built in the period revival architectural style in 1911.

Newly opened as a bed and breakfast, after two years of wxtensive restoration work. The hosts, Marilyn and Dave MacKenzie have been meticulously bringing this elegant mansion back to its craftsman era. In keeping with the English Manor houses of the Tutor period the home has been restored to its original splendour while adding modern comforts such as air conditioning, luxury linens, and high speed wifi. It boasts the original hardwood floors and windows, deep baseboards, pocket doors, clawfoot tub, butlers pantry and large 29 by 9 balcony off the 2nd floor queen bedrooms suite.

It's always a great time to go art gallery hopping in Prince Edward County! Right now, three of our favourite galleries have shows on.

Photos 1 + 2 // in beautiful South Bay has figurative works by until August 6. And if year's not enough, every Saturday until August 19th at 3pm, you can pop in to hear 5 minute Prose and Poems by 15 Prince Edward County writers.

Photos 3 + 4 // head over to the bucolic modern two-story barn for a solo show by encaustic painter . This shows runs until August 30th.

Photo 5 // need to get your fill of art? Then should do the job! The Summer Salon show has 100+ works on show. Paintings, sculptures, and photographs are all shown in a salon setting. A very ambitious show that runs until September 4th.

Most of the bed & and breakfast accommodations we feature also have great art in their homes. If you are an art lover, connoisseur, or simply appreciate beautiful things - make your next County visit a colourful one!

We are so blessed to live in an active farming community. Our community is also filled with super creative makers and visionaries. All this makes for the best outdoor markets!From May to October, every Saturday, showcases some of these growers, purveyors, makers, and artisans. But that's not all. On Sundays, another eclectic mix of talented folks share their creations . A great way to discover The County's bounty and bring home a taste of the region.

Prince Edward County's Loyalist history meets mid-century modern . We especially love the bold colour blocking theme that is applied inside and out on this Wellington Main Street bed & breakfast. It takes an artful eye to combine historically accurate furnishings alongside modern pieces and edgy art. The owners here have mastered it, and you'll feel their exuberant personality in all the details that make this a truly one of a kind home. Of course, you'll also appreciate their tasty breakfasts and welcoming hospitality, but that's a given when staying at one of the 23 bed & breakfasts we've curated for you in PEC!

Your bed & breakfast has your bellies in check and well fed each morning but where to go for that early afternoon lunch? If you happened to be in Wellington,you can head for This corner restaurant specializes in brunch and lunch fare. The decor is beyond adorbs and the food is very delish.
If you've never dared to do the bathroom selfie, we dare you to resist their bathroom mirror to snap your first one! We won't say more, just check it out and report back to tell us if you did!

We couldn't celebrate great design without including the architectural wonder that is
This waterfront bed and breakfast checks all the boxes - wow factor exteriors and interiors - enough art to be mistaken for a gallery - gracious, experienced hosts - breathtaking views from all angles (can you say floor to ceiling windows on all levels?) - secluded exclusive location, for the most fabulous to stay anonymous.

The County is a great place to explore on 2 wheels. No need to pack your bike next time you come, simply rent a bike for a day or two from one of the great businesses in PEC. We especially love the convenient locations of .ebikes and . Most offer electric bicycles which we highly recommend to cover more terrain.
Another great tip is to take advantage of the nearly 50k trails of that criss-cross most of the island along a former CN rail track, so yes, very flat and safe for cyclists! Also the fact that it goes through Picton, Bloomfield, Wellington and many wineries in Hillier (ding, ding, ding!) makes it really perfect.
