Yesterday was an amazing day as we hosted the Open Roads Ojibwe class for our annual Kids Dock Tournament field trip. 🎣

The teaching staff shared that this is one of the students’ favorite field trips of the year, and every new school year begins with the same question: “Do we get to go back to Temple Bay?”

Our hearts are full knowing we’re helping create memories and inspire the next generation of anglers and outdoor enthusiasts. Watching these kids laugh, learn, and celebrate every catch is what it’s all about.

A huge congratulations to this year’s tournament winner, a young lady who landed an incredible 29-inch walleye right off the dock! What an unforgettable catch and an amazing way to cap off such a special day. ❤️

🎣 Friday Fish Report!

Crazy weather couldn’t slow the bite this week! Walleyes are still producing on spring spots, with bigger fish starting to show on summer patterns, and Northern pike action remains strong. Despite the wind and rain, it was another great day on Eagle Lake with plenty of smiles and fish caught. See you on the water! 🌊🐟
