Not all ice is gone on Simcoe yet. Actually a lot of the east side of the lake has pretty good shoreline access and fishable ice. These were caught on 8”+ of good ice. If youre venturing out, floater suit, spud bar, and ice picks should be mandatory. Be careful always but especially this time of the year. This ice wont last long!!!
The spring boat fishing will be coming up soon and The Perch Palace has boat slips!!

It looks like this year’s wacky weather will continue for a while. It will take a while to go through about 18” of ice but who knows with the coming high temperatures?? Just when the fishing looks to be picking up. Get them while you still can!! And remember The Perch Palace for the spring and fall perch bite. We have boat slips!!
