Built in 1949, in Coombs Cove, Fortune Bay, Newfoundland by our grandparents Clayton and Ruth Strowbridge It was barged to its current location in Grand Bank in 1974 as part of the resettlement program. story, a place that can house the entire family under one roof or something that is wheelchair accessible, this charming home will check all of your boxes. With four bedrooms and one full bath located upstairs and one bedroom and one full bath on the main floor, there is plenty of room for the whole family. Included in your stay is free Wi-Fi, laundry, BBQ and a fully functional kitchen. We are motivated to make your stay in the picturesque Town of Grand Bank a memorable one. We are located just 10 minutes from the St. Pierre ferry terminal and 45 minutes from the shopping centres in Marystown and the amazing entertainment and food of Smugglers Cove in Burin. Take a quiet drive around “The Boot'' to explore many of the charming towns located on the Burin Peninsula, or take a stroll up the harbour to check out the historic scenery of one of Newfoundland’s oldest fishing towns. Be sure to check out the lighthouse while you’re in the area along with the Fisherman’s Memorial at the site of The George C. Harris House located on Main Street. There are more plans for the future, but for now we are proud to share our new sign with the world.
