September and October at the lake are criminally underrated.

If you've done the Kettle Valley Trail near us, the Myra Canyon trestles are the next one to put on the list.

About 40 minutes from the cabin, 18 restored wooden trestle bridges strung along an old rail line, with views over the whole valley. Flat, easy, and genuinely one of the best short hikes/bike rides in the Okanagan.

Pack a lunch, bring the bikes if you've got them, and come back to the cabin for a swim after.
