Dragonfly Travel was honoured to support a great day of women’s golf, friendship, and community at Carrying Place

There is something special about seeing ladies come together on the course to play, laugh, compete, and enjoy a day that feels fully their own.

A highlight for us was finally meeting some of our clients in person. After planning trips by email and phone, it was lovely to connect face to face on the golf course.

Thank you to Carrying Place Club, the crew members and all lady golfers who made the day so welcoming.

We look forward to helping more ladies plan their next golf getaway, couples golf trip, or group golf vacation.

Dragonfly Travel was happy to sponsor the Hole-in-One and Putting Contest at the 25th Annual Les Clefs d’Or Ontario Golf Classic at Nottawasaga Resort & Golf Club.

It was a good day of golf, hospitality, and community.

Les Clefs d’Or represents a group of hospitality professionals we respect: people who understand service, timing, details, and how to make guests feel looked after.

That connects closely with how we think about golf travel.

At Dragonfly Travel, we plan custom golf trips for private groups, corporate groups, couples, and golfers who want the trip built around the game. We look at the courses, tee times, routing, hotels, transfers, and overall pace so the travel feels as considered as the golf.

One swing at Hoot #4 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley could have turned into a $10,000 golf trip.

We were at , meeting dedicated golfers who are clearly passionate about the game, and determined to play 54 holes in one day.

No hole-in-one winner this times. A few came close enough to make us wow.

That is the fun part of a good golf event. One swing can change the whole story.

Some resorts lean on the views. Palmares Ocean Living & Golf has the golf to back it up.

The course is scenic, varied, and no giveaway. You’ll probably want a second round once you’ve learned a few of its tricks.

Then you sit on the patio, look out, and understand why the clubhouse gets so much attention. Palmares says it won World’s Best Golf Clubhouse 2025, and once you’re there, it makes sense. The food with that view does not hurt either.

The rooms are calm, polished, and very easy to settle into. You’re also close to Lagos, which gives you another layer to the stay. Good restaurants, old town charm, and enough around you that a week here never feels repetitive.

One to keep in mind for Portugal. Share this with the people you’d want to go there with.
