Mom 🙋‍♀️ Have you ever stayed at an Airbnb saying « kid friendly » and you arrive there there is no kid beds, no under sheets for night accidents, no potty seat, no chairs for the kids … and I could go on for more than an hour ?

Basically it was just a basket of used toys 🧸 that’s it !

That’s our WHY - that’s the story behind Òdem why we decided to take the leap and create something unique specially designed for families.

Mom, I get YOU. 😂

I’ve done this more times than I can count — packing for a 3-day family getaway and somehow bringing half the house with me.

And every time I’m thinking… there has to be a better way. 💁‍♀️

Why aren’t there more Airbnbs that are actually designed for families?

And I mean REALLY.

Not just “family-friendly” because there’s a pack ’n play and a few board games hidden in the closet.

I’m talking about a place where someone has already thought about the babies, the toddlers, the big kids, the rainy days, what we’re going to do, what we might need…

and the parents too. ✌️

That’s exactly what we’re building with Òdem.

So you can pack the kids, bring the essentials, and leave the 47 bags at home. 🧡 Follow as we we’ll soon be opening our doors 🚪

Mom if this ever come to your mind while on vacation… I totally get YOU 🙋‍♀️🧡

No high chair or even a smaller chair to have the kids on.

Need to transport the stroller + all their toys + something to do in case it rains.

No idea where to go for a nice playground that your kids will actually love.

I’ve been there too 🙋‍♀️🧡 and that’s why we started ÒDEM in the first place. Because usually when chalet called themselves kid-friendly, you still need to be moving half you house to go on a 3 days getaway and that’s actually more tiring than what a vacation should look like.

Because why does a 3-day getaway with kids require packing like we’re moving out?! 🤦‍♀️

We wanted a family getaway that felt like an actual getaway.

Not a weekend spent packing every baby item you own, planning every activity, worrying about the weather and wondering what the kids will do once you get there.

Because we know what it’s like. We’re parents too. And we kept finding ourselves wishing for a place that had already thought about all the stuff parents have to think about.

So that’s what we’re creating with Òdem. 🤎

A chalet where you can show up with your kids and actually feel prepared — without bringing your entire house with you.

For babies.
For toddlers.
For bigger kids.

Not just a little game box tossed in a corner and calling it “kid-friendly.”

We’re talking real kid-friendly design, things they’ll actually use, spaces they’ll actually enjoy, and all those little essentials that make travelling with kids easier.

And then there’s the part we think is just as important:

the parents.

A place where you can actually slow down.
Where rainy days already have a plan.
Where you don’t have to spend hours figuring out what to do with the kids.
Where a family-friendly itinerary is there when you want it.
Where the little details have already been thought through.

Because the goal isn’t just to make the kids happy.

It’s to make the whole family feel like they’re on vacation.

We’re building Òdem near Mont-Tremblant, and we’re sharing the real journey as we go — from the big decisions to the tiny details that will hopefully make your next family getaway feel a whole lot easier.

Pas juste un CHALET ! 🙊

Première de la série de notre aventure du POURQUOI on achète un chalet.

Reste à l’affût parce que dans la suite il y aura :

Because who really wants to have the high chair in the corne… BUT who does want to pack it for a 3 day trip ?

That’s our WHY ! Having everything families really need so you don’t have to pack your whole house 🏡 and can just enjoy the moment and memories with your kids 💝
