From space → to sea → to soil → to community.
That’s the path Grogenics is building with its partners.

At the Space4Ocean gathering in Oslo, Grogenics, AXA Climate, and the Monaco Space Office shared how satellite data is driving real coastal resilience:

🛰️ detect blooms
💸 trigger parametric insurance
🌱 intercept + upcycle
🌍 support communities

Created by CNES, France’s national space agency, and launched this past June at the 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice, the Space4Ocean Alliance convenes global leaders to deploy satellite intelligence for ocean protection.

The blueprint is built to scale across all Sargassum-affected coastlines including the Caribbean, the USA, West Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, the Indian Ocean, and beyond.

When you purchase a Grogenics carbon credit, you help us intercept more sargassum before it harms coral reefs, mangroves, and the marine life that depends on them.

Each credit fuels tangible impact - cleaner waters, restored biodiversity, and resilient coastlines.

The more credits we sell, the more oceans we save.

Certified by Gold Standard.
Powered by the ocean.
Driven by impact.

We've all heard of Fast-Food. But Slow Food?

That's taste with purpose, food that tells a story, from where it comes from, who grows it, and how it brings people together. True sustainability isn't about doing more, it's about being intentional.

Brava to our colleague Jean-Charles for championing this movement in Monaco, and a HUGE shoutout to Dr. Guy Nervo for offsetting 10% of his CO, footprint with Grogenics Carbon Credits, a massive impact that helps women-led farms and plantations rebuild their soil and grow bountiful fruits and vegetables for their communities.

Cheers to growing impact, together 💚

We're so proud to see our partners Grupo Lomas recognized at the Santander Sustainable event for obtaining the Crédito Verde, a well-deserved nod to their fabulous commitment to sustainability.

Together, we're turning tons of sargassum and green waste at El Dorado Royale Resort in Quintana Roo, Mexico, into safe and valuable resources, transforming a game-changing ecological challenge into action. No more landfills for them.

Proud to be part of this journey together!

Congratulations to the whole Grupo Lomas team.

Sargassum arrives on Caribbean and Mexican shores in massive quantities every year. At first glance, it looks like harmless seaweed. In reality, it's loaded with arsenic, cadmium, and other heavy metals absorbed as it drifts across the Atlantic.

Some companies rush to call it "biofertilizer." But scientists warn that untreated sargassum risks pushing those same toxins into soil, water, and the food chain.
At Grogenics, we've developed a patent-pending bioremediation process that safely neutralizes heavy metals.

We're proving, at scale, that this toxic problem can become a safe, 100% organic solution for agriculture and feedstock.

Every year, millions of tons of sargassum swamp the Caribbean and Mexico. The usual response? Clean it up. Dump it. Repeat next season. That’s not a strategy. That’s a cycle — and it’s failing. It’s time for a circular approach that works. Grogenics is closing the loop — turning seaweed into real climate and community impact. Let’s get the word out.

From heavy metals to hydrogen sulfide, it’s a rising threat to human health, clean water, and food safety. While many rush to upcycle it, few are tackling the real risk: the toxins.
At Grogenics, we’re not just collecting seaweed—we’re transforming it safely.

How much does it REALLY cost to save the planet?

With global emissions on the rise, carbon removal is becoming key to achieving net-zero goals. In 2024, the cost to remove CO₂ ranges from $40 to $850 per tonne, depending on the technology and quality of the project.

What affects the price?

• Permanence: Longer-lasting storage typically costs more.
• Quality: High-quality projects are more reliable but pricier.
• Supply: The demand for quality credits in 2024 is outpacing supply.

The carbon removal market is evolving quickly. For companies aiming to hit net-zero, waiting is no longer an option. High-quality projects deliver reliable carbon removal—and they’re in demand.

Our carbon removal credits are available at $145 per tonne—because saving the planet should be within reach.
