Mimi has been part of the Camp Wasaga family for 10 years, and the summer she’s excited to take on a new role as a Camp leader!

She was inspired to become a leader because she always looked up to her own leaders growing up and wanted a chance to give today’s campers the same feeling of encouragement, fun, and belonging.

When she’s not at camp, you’ll usually find her drawing or painting and expressing her creativity. But if you ask her what her favourite part of Camp is, the answer is easy… Grabbing an ice cream from the canteen!

𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓 - 𝑺𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒆

🌟 After 13 incredible years at camp, she’s stepping into her very first year as a leader, and we couldn’t be more excited! Sophie has always loved being part of this amazing community, and now she’s ready to give back by working with kids and helping make camp just as special for them. 💛

You’ll often find her out on the water paddling or swimming at Clear Lake 🌊, making the most of every sunny camp day. Outside of camp, Sophie is a synchronized swimmer, bringing that same energy, dedication, and teamwork into everything she does.

We’re so lucky to have Sophie on the team this summer, it’s going to be an awesome season! 🙌
