Does our soul continue to exist in another ethereal world, or is our consciousness simply extinguished as easily as a candle’s flame? The Ottawa Gatineau Paranormal Society (OGPS), officially formed in February 2010, is committed to answering that very question by way of investigating, researching and analyzing cases of reported paranormal activity in and around the Ottawa and Gatineau area. OGPS
is a dedicated group of individuals passionate about all things paranormal. We approach each of our cases with an open mind & always incorporate a scientific element to our investigations in order to first rule out natural causes for any reported phenomena. The heart of what we do involves on-site investigations. These can take place in various locations including, but certainly not limited to, private homes and businesses, public buildings, cemeteries, churches, theatres and hotels. Once a potentially haunted site has been identified and the proper permission has been obtained, an investigation will be conducted. Once completed, the data we’ve obtained (photos, video, EVPs, personal experiences, etc...) is carefully reviewed and analyzed. At this stage, OGPS will meet with the client in order to present them with our findings. The client will then have the opportunity to ask any questions and, depending on the results, OGPS will be able to advise them as to the best course of action relative to their situation. OGPS believes in the importance of instructing, educating & assisting those who feel as though they are experiencing some form of paranormal activity. Our services are always free of charge.
