🌿 We acknowledge the land everyday but especially on National Indigenous Peoples Day 🍃

Gold Creek Getaway is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Omàmìwininì (Algonquin Anishinaabe) Peoples, who have cared for these lands and waters since time immemorial.

We are deeply grateful to live and work on this land, and we honour the enduring relationship between Indigenous Peoples and this place we now call home.

As an Ecoresort, our commitment to conservation is inspired by generations of traditional knowledge that remind us: we don’t own the land—we are its caretakers.

I entered into an exciting collaboration with Daina this season. She has been instrumental in revitalizing and maintaining the outdoor space here !

As a female entrepreneur, I believe that success means more when it’s shared. I’ve intentionally hired women to create space for them to grow their businesses and succeed alongside me.

It isn’t easy:) But this is my 5th year in a row as a SuperHost out here . This past year has been especially challenging, personally and professionally. Just when I feel like I have things under control, some major repair comes up or massive unexpected bill and I feel like I am not making any progress. So getting SuperHost again was a nice reminder of how happy my guests always are when they stay here:) Big shout out to all my amazing guests and their fabulous reviews!
